Details are listed below.Smash Mouth took more than two years to work on its fifth and latest studio album, "Summer Girl," which surfaced in 2006. The members parted ways with their longtime label, Interscope, and formed their own company, Beautiful Bomb Records, to make good on a decade-long promise to do things their own way, according to their bio.A couple of tracks from the set, "Story of My Life" and "So Insane," made the Adult Top 40 chart and the latter is featured on the 2006 soundtrack for the motion picture "Zoom" starring Tim Allen and Courtney Cox. Smash Mouth, which has been around for 14 years, emerged on the national scene in 1997 with its '60s-influenced garage rock hit "Walking on the Sun" from its double-platinum debut album, "Fush Yu Mang." The group followed that with a steady stream of hits over the years including "Can't Get Enough of You Baby," "Then the Morning Comes," "All Star" and a remake of the Monkees classic "I'm a Believer," which was prominently featured on the "Shrek" soundtrack. In 2005, Smash Mouth offered up the "All Star Smash Hits" compilation, which includes most of the band's singles, four cover tunes and four songs previously available only on movie soundtracks.
